  • Friday, May 18th, will be the Spring Band Concert. This years theme is Disney Meets Broadway, featuring many popular songs from Disney Movies and Broadway Musicals. Performing with be the 7th, 8th and 9th Grade Bands, the Concert Band and the Jazz Band. Donations to the band program will be collected at the door.

  • Come join Aitkin school’s staff and Doub family and friends on June 2nd at 10 am for the 4th annual “Doub Ripple River Paddle Extravaganza.” Participants will enjoy a relaxing paddle down the Ripple River from Ripple Lake to Jen Waldorf’s Residence on 340th Lane just south on Hwy 169. SORRY ADULTS ONLY! All money raised will go towards the Doub Scholarship Fund.

  • The Aitkin Children's Center has begun its pre-registration process for 2012-2013 3's and 4's Preschool Classes A child is eligible to enroll in preschool classes if he or she is 3 or 4 on or before September 1st, 2012. Three year old classes are offered one time per week in the mornings. Four year old classes are offered one or two times per week in the morning or afternoon.

    An end-of-the-year picnic will be held on May 17th. Details here.

    Preschool classes at the center are taught be highly qualified, licensed staff and focus on the five key areas of development: social emotional skills, communication, cognition, adaptive skills, and motor skills.
